All jewelry is handcrafted by CH Design, using high quality materials. The main material is an epoxy resin, which is poured into a mold and then filled with dried flowers, pigments, glitters or silver flakes.

The resin is poured in several of layers depending on the design and depth of the frame. After the resin is fully cured, a small hole is drilled into the resin or attached to a jump ring, and then onto a keychain, or earring base. 

It's a timely process, as we make sure to place every individual flake, glitter, and flower by hand. This ensures an even dispersal of product in all items.

We like to take advantage that we are not a large company, so we don't mass produce. Every item is unique and only a few products are made at a time.

I almost exclusively work with Gypsophila flowers, otherwise known as "Baby's Breath".

Why? For a few reasons;

• Gypsophila is a very petit flower, and it's beautiful even in the smallest of shapes
• Gypsophila can be dried without needing to be pressed, retaining their 3 dimensional beauty
• Gypsophila can be found in a wide range of colors

A big misconception about my brand is that I pick my flowers in the wild, but this is not the case. I source my flowers at local florists within the places I visit, and I only ever buy 1 bouquet to keep things a little more exclusive.

Gypsophila flowers are naturally a creamy white. Any other color you see has been dyed by the florist.

I don’t dye the flowers myself. I simply get the colors the florist has available when I visit.

The challenge for me is finding new shades or color combinations so every collection becomes unique!

We make sure to use a high quality epoxy resin that is UV resistant. This means that it will not discolor in the sunlight. 

All of our jewelry is made using stainless steel hardware and other high-quality materials. Stainless steel will not tarnish, but the gold-plating may fade. If you keep your pieces away from lotions, perfumes and water, it will take years before the goldplating wears off. Read more about our materials here.

We make all of our jewelry with stainless steel & PVD 18K gold-plated stainless steel, but we still advise to avoid exposing your jewelry to water, lotions and perfumes. Read more about our materials here.

Many brands advertise their jewelry as “waterproof,” but this is something that is actually impossible. Any jewelry that is gold plated rather than solid gold will eventually lose its plating over time, and exposure to water can speed up this process.

CH Design jewelry is made with PVD 18K gold-plated stainless steel, which is the highest quality / strongest gold plating you can find.
